The Great Park has a structure which responds to its setting and falls naturally into three parts, characterised by farming areas in the north, natural countryside in the east and settings for outdoor leisure to the south west.

The farming area is located on the most fertile land and will include community farming and cultivation. The leisure area runs from the edges of Oadby to the eco-town and will provide both communities with easy access. The countryside element follows the line of the River Sence and connects with the wider rural setting beyond.
The three main characteristics of the Great Park meet at the Town Square which will contain a range of themes and activities. A community orchard and garden will form the heart of the town.
