Compact 50 to CLG 31/07/08
On 31st July we submitted a "reference case" proposal to the Government which was titled The Co-operative Group's and English Partnerships' "31 July Assessment Spatial Option", on which CLG could base assumptions for environmental and sustainability testing. This spatial option was developed in response to feedback from stage one of our consultation and the refinement of the three options submitted at the end of June. This "Compact 50" option is based on the "Compact" option but with development at a lower density. This document was posted onto our website on 5th August
We consider that there is merit in each of the four layout options and we have sought comments on each of these options before the end of August in order to assist with production of a final detailed proposal for submission to Government in September.
